About the Author

I live in Melbourne, Australia, I'm an IT architect, project manager and consultant for a major technology firm. This provides me with enough money to run my Land Rover Defender, which our family uses to explore the wonderful Australian countryside. Most trips are done with my clubs, the Pajero Club of Victoria and the Landrover Owners' Club, and I'm also an instructor with the driver training units.

Writing and photography are my other interests, and I'm a regular contributor to Overlander 4WD magazine, the 4WD Editor of the Adventure Gear Guide and occasionally contribute to other publications. Some examples are a 12-vehicle new 4WD comparison, various motorsports photography and stories, technical articles, custom-vehicle profiles, human interest and product reviews. I'm open to interesting writing commissions about 4WDs, cars and navigation.
